welcome to zn80.net!
Hello there! My name is CB, and I'm a German expat currently residing in
The Netherlands. I am a gamer, husband, coffee drinker and I have a
fondness for tinkering, particularly when it comes to
self-hosted-software. As a part of this hobby, I host a variety of
personal services.
They are mostly for me, partly for my friends. If you
are my friend and you would like to have access to one of these services,
then let me know! If you are not my friend, then I will not give you
access. If you are a cool hacker who gets access anyway then feel free to
stay! Just don't mess up the place, please!
Jellyfin is a self-hosted media server.
Think of a Netflix type thing. This instance is used for nothing but
Blender Studio’s various exciting productions. I love Big Buck Bunny!!
Invidious is a free and open-source
alternative front-end to the video
sharing platform YouTube. It allows users to watch YouTube videos
without the need for a Google account or the YouTube website itself.
Invidious was developed as a privacy-friendly alternative to YouTube, as
it does not track user activity or display ads.
Yarn.social is
completely decentralized and operates on a ‘pull’-based model – not unlike
ActivityPub based platforms like Mastodon. In order to get onboard and
start following your friends, family or colleagues, you need a feed and a
client.
filebrowser provides a file managing interface within a
specified
directory and it can be used to upload, delete, preview, rename and edit
your files.
linkding is
a simple bookmark service that you can host yourself. It's designed be to
be minimal, fast, and easy to set up using Docker.
usememos
is an open-source, self-hosted memo hub with knowledge management and
social networking.
